That you're going to be put in the mental hospital. It is defintely not such a veiled threat for your "compliance".

"Never trust an Arab. They're all Muslims and Muslims are all evil and want to kill you."
This comes from my grandmother at least once a week. She also warns my uncle to watch out for all the drunk Mexicans when he drives.

Bush is going to start drafting people into war who aren't in the military.

I've heard a snotty NT Female voice tell me, "I don't know why you turn to your Buses. Like, they're not exactley Family Members!" That happened to me, early one morning, before my Healing Process started to gel.

(About a young child wailing at the top of its lungs in a store) "Oh, just let him cry. He'll either cry himself out or choke himself to death."

"Oh, well! Here we go again."

Those words just seemed to fall out of my mouth on their own when my wife told me she was pregnant for the fifth time. We had lost the previous four at different stages of pregnancy.

Needless to say, I was not thought of as a supportive husband for a few minutes, while I tried to come up with a coherent explanation. I was indeed at a loss for words.

Everything worked this time, though, and my son was born.

I've thought that I've heard my mum calling me, early in the morning, when I was sleeping. It turned out that she was talking to the dog, so I went back to sleep.
