So yeah I won't be attending college this next semester, I might go back to it someday but I don't really know. So yeah not quite sure what to do with myself......I guess looking for a job would not be a bad idea, and maybe I should still apply for SSI but the looking for a job could interfere with that.

Other then that i guess I just have to wait and see what life throws at me, and I can not garantee I will make the best choices......though I probably will not make the worst choices.

There is not really a lot I like doing, there are things I find intresting though but none of those are really things that would provide much income. If I could find a way to not need income that would be cool, but I have no idea how to do that.

there's no problem applying for a job while applying for SSI. if you get a job, you can drop your SSI application. you can even work part-time and keep part of your SSI benefits - especially important keeping those health benefits.

You will keep your Medicaid if you get a job after you get on SSI but $1 of your SSI check will be deducted for every $2 you make before taxes; you can still get your SSI check if you lose the job or if you miss work for a while. Some programs like state rehabilitation services may be more willing to help you find a job if your on SSI. There may be other assistance programs that might help with getting you housing or other things if your on SSI. & I also I noticed that some employment applications ask about receiving benefits because the companies may get tax breaks, good PR or other incentives for hiring people with disabilities or on assistance programs

Just a thought, I'm sure it's nothing worthy but still wanna say it; maybe you could take some time off from college and try to work things out. You can drop it at any time later. Idk what's the system in US.

You might learn a trade. University degrees are pretty useless anyway, especially the arts degrees. Beware of for-profit colleges, you'll want to go to a community college. Or you can get an apprenticeship, and bypass college entirely. The USA tends to force every kid to go to college, meaning that people who shouldn't go do go and struggle, and end up with useless degrees and piles of non-dischargeable debt. Kids are looked at as profit centers, not students. That's pretty much the way America works-the little people exist to be raped for cash by the big people.

I feel like such a loser because I could not even handle two classes at a community college.......and no I did not have something useful like a job interfering.

Trying & failing does NOT make you a loser. You did a lot better than me because I never had any desire to go to college. College is not for everyone. I wish I could think of something mroe supportive to say but I really don't think your a loser. I hope you can get something else going soon like find a job, get on SSI or maybe even try volunteering somewhere because i think you would feel a little better about things if you had more going on. Nothing going on in my life caused me to get depressed
