I wish my dad gave me a separate individual bedroom.

Exactly what it sounds like, when the family moved to their current residence a year and a half ago, both of my sisters got their own rooms. They both get along really well (they pretty much exclude me from everything). My little sister was very unclear what her future plans were at the time. She was pregnant. Now, I have to share a room with my dad, meaning I have no privacy (neither he nor my youngest sister ever knock) meaning they have barged in on me during my privatest moments (you can guess the rest). And since my little sister had her son, she brings him in to sleep with my dad when he wakes up instead of putting him back to sleep herself. And then there are times when my dad brings him in to sleep and he is still awake, and he goes out to the family room like nothing. I wish to hell I had my own room and some privacy and dignity. I NEED MY ALONE TIME, G-D D--n IT. I am so sick of living like this. I just can't wait to graduate from college and get the hell out.

You think your dad is happy with the arrangement? I bet he's not getting much privacy or sleep either.

Maybe you could discuss the problem with him and come up with a compromise.

How about an attic, garage, basement, or even car to sleep in? A woodshed, tool shed, small tent in the back yard?
