Do you notice that people do it all the ****ing time when you're out and about? And not just when you bump into them or block their path (avoiding that is practically all I can think about and I manage to), but for the pettiest of reasons that aren't immediately discernable. It's probably an odd thing to be preoccupied by, but it makes me quite anxious and resentful of the people doing it, as you can probably see.

Not the dance style. I mean the clicking sound people make with their tongues to express irritation or disapproval. Might be called something different outside of the UK.

In the US it's called 'tsk-ing.' But yeah, I hate it too. :?

I do that to people quite often when I'm in a bad mood, and they rub me the wrong way.

I tend to bat it right back at them. At least, when I'm in "I'm a person too, just as good as you" mode.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that many typical neurotypical behaviors are idiotic and disgusting.

People like that are the same ones that do things like drive you out of your own damn family for not being able to figure out how to steer a conversation or when to tell a polite lie.

They suck. You don't. End of discussion.

I take the MRT train almost every day, so people make "tsk tsk" noises at me almost every day. Some people say that young men never tsk, but even young men have tsked at me. People tsk at me when I'm walking, when I'm on the escalator, when I'm climbing stairs... They seem to think that they can speed me up by tsking at me, but sorry, I have already been rushing at top speed. Once, a woman stared at me and tsked because I pushed the wrong lift button. I was so frightened by her that once I got on the MRT train, I just cried and cried until I alighted. I see people tsking at the MRT train when they miss it. What's wrong with them? I have already outgrown tsking because it is so childish and rude.

I'm in the UK but when I tut people look at me as though it was inappropriate for me to do it. I tut all the time because people get on my nerves, but I get told that I shouldn't tut. Once I tutted, and I got these 2 girls staring at me and sniggering for the whole duration of waiting for the bus. So I always thought it was considered abnormal to tut at people because of the way people react when I do it.

But I suppose it's another one of those double standard things where NTs are allowed to do it but Aspies aren't (even though strangers don't know I have AS).
