I'm not sad or angry or anything, I Just can't get these negative thoughts and memories out of my head. I feel so bad I end up hurting myself to get the thoughts to go away...I don't know if anyone could help, weed what used to make me relaxed in happy just brings back these thoughts. I end up thinking the same thing over and over again and it makes me feel terrible...I don't even really know how to word it. it just feels terrible for me.

I find that when I'm busy, the bad thoughts and memories get put on the back burner for a while. It's when I slow down they come back. Keep a thoughts journal. Write down what you're thinking, what you were doing when you thought it, and the time of day and date. There might be a pattern to your thinking and a journal would show it to you so you could stop or at least change the pattern. If you can't change it, at least you'll get it out of your head and onto paper. Sometimes I'll write down the bad thoughts or memories and then burn it. It's worked a few times getting rid of them.

I'm not sure how you're feeling, but if it's anything like how I feel sometimes, it's horrible. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I wish there was some magic words to make you feel better. Please know that you're not the only one that goes through this.

Never hurt yourself, ever!! You are a beautiful person who is a one of a kind in this world. Next time you want to hurt yourself, go for a walk to clear your head, or go get ice cream, or take a bubble bath, or anything that will reward you for being the awesome person you are!! (I know this is hard to do. I'm still learning how to myself.)

Please feel free to PM me whenever you need to talk to someone!

Lisa :)
