In need of advice regarding medication
So basicly, I've recently started group therapy, mainly to be observed and fill out questionaires and the likes. I've always been very proud of my self knowledge, but today I've noticed something that absolutely stumped my mind.
To briefly explain, I constantly apply pressure to my own body, more in anxious situations. I seem to be very sensory sensitive (I discribed one of the inkblot cards as "a four legged bird with 2 legs and wings, but with paws that's unable to fly, like a dodo bird." I've always known I'm very sensitive to light, taste, smell and sound, some of the mentioned more then others.
I notice this mainly when eating, because I can't apply pressure, I sit on one of my legs and rapidly hop with my other knee. This also causes me not to eat throughout the day at the therapy, they have chairs with rails, making my sitting position impossible and offcourse, alot of people will sit next to me, eating and talking.
So, to get to a quick end of this topic, my phychiatrist prescribed me venlafaxine, wich gave me the worst night of my life after taking it, similar to the side effects I've had from trying XTC and speed.
The only drugs that ever were completely side effect free and provided me with benefits were mushrooms and LSD, would it be wrong to ask him to pre-scribe me something along those lines? offcourse, without all the constant psychedelic delusions attached to them.
I really don't think my body recieved benefits from anything along the lines of an XTC like effect, if anything at all, I only experience side effects, like being over active, teeth grinding, agression and a really upset stomache for days.

Doctors can only prescribe medications authorized by the FDA in the US, and my guess is it's that way in the entire West. LSD and MMDA are most assuredly not in the USP.
I've read there is at least talk of continuing studies with LSD and related drugs. You might want to research that, as they likely need volunteers.
I vaguely recall someone (who was/is ASD) writing somewhere that LSD helped their sensory issues (temporarily). Is that what you mean?
Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that's legal that has similar effects. Of course, no one really knows how hallucinogens work, so it's hard to even begin to think about what other drugs effect the same receptors and so forth -- let alone for a non-primary effect like improving sensory integration in autistics.
I'd worry about asking a doctor a question like that. I think they'd probably think that you just like to get high and are a "drug seeker."
There is a drug called tianeptine which works basically the opposite of drugs like venlafaxine. (It weirdly also acts as an antidepressant, though.) It's expensive, though, and not normally used in the USA. The manufacturer (Cephalon) makes some unusual and interesting meds. -- FWIW.
