I've been this way for years. It's not just chemical, it's also circumstance. I just shake it off the best I can. How do you deal with this yourself?

I have this in the morning because I have to get ready, I have to move my damn muscles and I have this in the evening because I want to relax, use the computer and listen to music and have fun when I really already should be in bed sleeping 3 or 4 hours ago because I have to get up early next morning for work, because I'm all slow like that.

Yes I find I am more anxious in the morning, and it has been like this for quite a long time. I always presumed it was because of all the thoughts of the day ahead, and what it might hold, causing me to become more easily overwhelmed. (I find uncertainty very difficult) With me it means that I cut myself off from the outside world until I feel I can face it a bit later on in the day.
I'm afraid I don't have any answers as to how to help with it. :( But you're not the only one.

I usually wake up thinking 'uhhhh.........why am I here?', and attempting to go back to sleep but failing and getting up anyways.

I refuse to talk to any doctor about getting a sleep medication prescription, I'd just screw around with it for its mind altering effects.......and sleep meds can have some weird ones.

i have to take something to help with sleep & anxiety, and they have better effects than illegal drugs on my body and mind. different medicines for different people. the best one of all for me was too addictive, which frustrated me. it was the first time in my life i completely stopped twitching and my mind stopped racing.

I get the same thing. For me, the anxiety is just my struggles in getting myself out of bed, which is something I have to fight with myself about every morning. I don't anxious when I can just wake up and get out of bed, which is rarely.

I would gladly take Xanax to help me get relaxed enough to sleep.

i took a benzodiazepam called clonazepam (at least i think it is one). i liked that too, but ativan was like hearing angels while soft kittens cuddled me to sleep.

Clonazepam is a little much for me, I had a dude give me some he had left over and it was honestly too much for me. As for Ativan if I remember right my friend ended up driving people home under the influence and he had no memory of it other then foggy dream like memories that were re-enforced when he learned he did indeed drive while in a dissociation state under ativan. though it might have been a differnt one with a simular name.

I am usually depressed when I wake up, but then I realize that I have to be somewhere so I roll my butt out of bed and drag myself about the house to get ready. I also wake up usually very irritable, people should know by now that if you talk to me before 9 AM (I wake up at 6:30) I will probably want to strangle you (haven't done it....yet  )

I don't know if Zyprexa is in the same family as Clonazepam, but I think it saved it my life. It was the only thing that really killed my depression. It erased my feelings, but at the time it was worth it.
