No matter how long it goes, these situations always turn out the same way; people are nice to me for a bit after we first meet, but after being around for a while and seeing how I talk, act, and behave, people start to treat me differently.
I get mocked, bullied, used, made fun of, disrespected, and talked down to. It continues until I sever ties the person/group all together. It's a vicious cycle and it's been that way for the past 25 years.
I"m sick and tired of things playing out this way, I'll never be accepted/treated fairly by these jerks in the world. They see/hear someone that's different and they can't help but point and laugh.
I call this the Aspie "friendship" cycle.
First few meetings is "Hi and Hello".
After a few more they are still friendly but they are slowly suspecting that there's something not exactly right about you.
Months later and they start talking behind your back.: What's wrong with that guy/girl?
Now depending on how civil the group is you wont be given the same respect you were given initially. As time goes by you become the group outcast. You decide it's time to leave and the cycle starts again.
