(c)
prove a point.

Well, I'm sure you know the back story. I won't bore/depress you with my experiences of school because I'm sure most of you went through them anyway. ;)

But several instances over the past few days before I broke up for half-term really annoyed me.

Let's just say that someone came over and asked if they could copy my work. (It's my work, why the **** would I let ANYONE copy it?) I refused. Guess what? They claimed that was racism.

I've made some smart-ass comments to them after they made degradotory comments. 'ret*d' 'Weirdo', e.t.c

I defended myself with stuff like "Well, if you have to say that, what does it say about you?" They claimed racism again.

Grrrrrrrrrrr.............If they try that out one more time, I swear I'm going to school with a blindfold to prove a point.

(Either that or I should learn to speak French)

I know! I have the exact same feelings over my work. I don't know how people can just let others copy off their work so freely - it's personal hard-work that they're scumming off. It's like they're stealing a part of YOU.

And about the racism...WTF?

They called you 'ret*d' 'weirdo',etc. If you are what they say you are (which you are not), they are practically calling themselves 'weird' and 'ret*d' because they want to copy your work, that proves they are the stupid ones, Right?

I would'nt care if someone called me a racist.

If I was in that situation, I would've said: "you're the kind of person black people call a n****r"

You'll have to ignore it and stick to what you feel is right and resume your business when it happens again, because there's little you can do without agitating the situation. I really don't like people who use the clause of racial discrimination as an excuse for not getting what they want, they're abusing the privilege of anti-discrimination measures. That's why I feel political correctness promotes a kind of inverse racism where you're attacked for being racist, even though you are being fair in the situation and race is irrelevant.

If they ever make a case out of it, use the fact they called you inappropriate things as well to your advantage.

Ah, but therein lies the rub. They don't get punished because they call that racism as well.

It looks like THEY'RE the ret*ds and wierdos. They're the ones with the problem, not you.
