A member at my Clubhouse phones a nearby restaurant and makes a Bomb Threat. I know who it was, too. That particular person is always obsessing about bombing buildings, vehicles and subways. He feels no empathy towards anybody, and six months ago, when I was at my most suicidal, he said that London should be bombed again, and he kept repeating that he didn't care, anymore. I hope he gets kicked out the Clubhouse, for good!

Charming. You should call the BIB then (Boys in Blue)....

Seems like this guy is a pyromaniacal attention-seeker. I wouldn't say he is a terrorist in the current sense of the word, but he might become another Unabomber....

Yeah, you should probably speak to somebody about this.

Definately, we all love fire, but as soon as it involves threatening to harm people somethings gotta be done.

I went to a fairly nerdy school (and consider myself nerdyy too). A surprising number of nerds, the quiet brooding type, carried knives or tried to impress people with what they read about bombs on the internet. It seems to be a fairly typical way to deal with feelings of inadequacy. It's something we can all relate to, but to it's self ruining as a coping stratergy.

I don't know what you could do constructive about these people though.

If he truly has no empathy, than he might have anti-social personality disorder cuz that's one of the symptoms. I don't have any advice, but all I can say is that the two kids responsible for the columbine shooting planned it for months, and one of them had anti-social personality disorder. Don't be surprised if he blows something up one day and gets his sorry butt put in prison.

I've cut off my ties with him. I just couldn't take his callous attitude, anymore. He says that all of the people with disabilities, who go to the Clubhouse are ret*d, whether they are, or not. I wouldn't be suprized, if he said that sort of thing about me, when I'm not around. He was goofing off, talking to himself and I've decided to walk the other way. If he hates the Clubhouse that much, he shouldn't be there.

He can dislike the clubhouse all he wants; that doesn't, by default, mean that he's free to go around threatening to bomb people.
Last time I checked, that was a federal offense in Canada as well as the US. I strongly suspect the RCMP would be very interested in speaking with him.

This is just one person out of 250 who go to my Clubhouse. The other 249 or so, seem like decent people. I can hang out with the decent people and talk.

it is a good thing you cut your ties with him, this kid really needs help, i once had a friend who was bassically the same way, without the bomb stuff, he thought everyone was "a ret*d" he would even drop an f bomb about once an hour, he was a jerk to everyone, including, scratch that, especially me. the scary thng is, i couldn't stop hanging out with him, it was probably because he was the only 'friend' i had, and i was scared i would be considered a 'lolligag' kid, who bassically wanders around talking to themself all day long. thank god he moved to florida, now i don't have to deal with him, and i have found a much better friend, and a great group to hangout at- this one...  :D
