When I had abit of bullying at school i sat their and ignored them, kinda wish I had swung for them now but oh well  If they do it in groups, and you see one of them walk past by theirself, they won't do anything, that's the best time to get a few words in  Really i'd just ignore it and stick around the people you like.

Yeah... I ask the same question - how old are you?

Are they bullying you directly or are they doing it subtly? The former is in my opinion a but easier to work with but bullies seem to have become more creative over the years, to the point where you have to ask yourself, "is he a bully in the conventional sense?". Actually, I don't think I have been directly bullied in over six years.

Reading your post, the other question I wish to ask is: Why do you think you are being called these names? Do you look different than the others? Is your voice a bit odd (I say this one because people have said mine is and used that as fuel to start the bullying machine)? How have you acted in social situations - do you seem not to acknowledge others? Do you overreact spastically (another I have had personal experience with)?

Bullies don't bully unless there's a reason, however stupid or pointless it may be.

okay, squier, stop yourself and think: are they you? can they decide that you're a loser or a wimp? the answer is no they can't. unless they live a day in your life and have the same thoughts you do, then this is impossible. tell those people that you can only decide if you're a loser and it doesn't matter what they say to you. also don't forget to figure out why they're making fun of you.

don't ask me why, but whenever i'm down and need some motivation, i spin around. i spin around until i can't stand anymore and then i feel great. when i can see straight i go outside and watch insects go about their busy lives not having to worry about being put down or depressed. i watch their life and it amazes how such a small insect can do such a complex job(for them).

dont believe what they say, because if you do it will ultimatly effect the rest of your life, 99% chance in a negative way,

The same exact thing happened to me, i had one friend in my grade who didnt even stand up for me. Everyone hated me, absolutly everyone.

Dont be afraid to get in trouble, punch him, kick him, literally take him out. Sorry i dont have any better advice, cause i did nothing except for crying and trying to commit suicide, and look at me now, laying in a fetal posistion nearly every night thinking about the life I could have had. All because of that bastard.

Sobatage his belongings, find some assingment of his, stick it in the toilet, steal and then threaten to burn his prise possesions if you get your hands on them. Steal his baseball cards and stick them in the toilet, and of course dont say it was you, but hint that it is, example, " i bet that person did that to your stuff because you are such an inconsiderate a hole"

WOW!! !! everyone sure has good advice. to answer your questions elecliar, i am 12 years old.
they are bullying me in both ways, they would spread rumors, and call me names, i have even recieved one or two punches in the arm, you are very right, they have become very creative, my parents, and almot everyone else say people bully me because it makes them feel good, but i know it isn't true. i have a feeling you know me, because most of those reasons are true, i have a high-pitched voice, but it comforts me to know that it will deepen as soon as puberty kicks in. i also act very feeble in social situation, and i do "overreact spastically" as you said. thank you alot, i hope to keep in contact with you!

To be honest, I've bullied people before, (sounds hypocritical... does it not?) even while I was aware of how it felt to be bullied, and in retrospect, I did it because it made me feel like I had some social power. Like I wasn't the lowest rung on the ladder.

I would be interested to know: why do you think people bully you?

I went to a camp for Aspies in 2005 and I was amazed at the amount of bullying that went on. We had, within a few days, formed a very elaborate social caste system, and each caste seemed to bully the other castes. I guess when you bring a bunch of people together who are bullied in school the results can be disasterous.

Who knows whether I know you or not - I was just describing all the reasons I have been bullied in the past! My voice has often been used by bullies, as I said earlier - they might say, "Aaron, why are you gay?"
I might reply back, "What brings you to that conclusion?"
They would then say, "Well, your voice sounds gay, so I think you're gay."

I'm glad to hear someone else agrees about how creative bullies are.

I hope to see you around the forums. Take care.

Squier. I've been called every single name before as well.

For 6 years since I was 9 (I'm 15 now) I've been bullied and it's finally stopping and coming to an end, because I ignore them, and I just say "I've been called every name before" and I have a very low tolerance level with bullying because I don't give a sh** anymore.

I know how you feel.

Hang in their kid.

Try not to listen to what they say to you. I know that this can be hard when you are in the middle of it but try.

Alot of bullies have personall issues and they feel that by bullying they will help themselves.

Do not start bullying others it wont help.

Just try and ignore it and try ( i know hard) to be inconspicious. Do nothing that could enrage a bully. Just try and ignore them.

i will try, but i feel ignoring them doen't help, for me, it often makes the bully extremely violent... for example, one day i was late for school because i was at the orthodontst getting my braces tightened (oww!) when i arrived it was 2nd hour, so i had p.e., after signing in, i got a late pass, and headed to my class
when i arrived at the gym, all of my classmates were in there uniform and in there particular particular spots, after taking note of this, i walked across the gym, gave my late pass to the teacher, and headed to the changing room so i could get ready, the whole time, one of the bullies were asking me "why are you late?" over and over and over and over again, though it drove me crazy, i just ignored the kid and kept walking. it turned out that i really ticked that kid off, because after class, the kid 'accidentally' hit me in the jaw just hard enough to make my teeth hurt even more than they were because of the strain of them being pulled into place.
now don't get me wrong, your idea is a really good one, it just turns out that it is a been there, done that, got a t-shirt kind of thing for me!

The first step to avoid thinking of yourself as a wimp is to stop calling yourself that.
If you don't want to believe what some random as*holes who, to be honest, don't even matter, are telling you, try to develop a higher opinion of yourself. Understand that the people who say these things about you don't even usually know you all that well. And if anyone knows you the best, it's yourself. Only you can decide whether or not you have any worth as a human being.

when you say bullying people before, if snapping back at a mean comment counts as bullying, then i may have, for example, once, someone asked me if i was gay, i then responded, "why, do you want to go out with me? because if you do, tough luck." if that counts as bullying, i have been hypocritical too, but then maybe it could be considered defending your glory, so maybe it wouldn't count. i don't blame you for bullying... i would also say you are defending your glory, it could just be a natural reaction... right?

Thats actually a really good comeback, cleaver. And not considered bullying.

And ignoring a bully never works, it never ever ever ever works, seriously, it doesnt, it just doesnt work.

Bullies want a negative reaction from you, ignoring is considered a negative reaction, thus leading a bully to try and hurt you more. Instead pretend his comments are funny or use a postive reaction, such as smiling or laughing.

If that doesnt work, gather some of your friends and other nerds and kill him!! !! ! perferably with band instruments MUHAHAHAHA!!
