Not even joking... I do get depressed without anything occuring or whatever.
Literally have no reason to be depressed, I just am.
Both annoyed and depressed because I really don't want to be depressed.

There is such a thing as clinical depression where it occurs without extenuating stressors.

:( Great... now I'm clinically depressed and I had my anti-depressants upped recently...

I get that way too at times it just hits me all of a sudden without warning. It can be stressful and frustrating.

Weather conditions seem to affect me. It seems that if there is a storm coming in, I will become inexplicably depressed. The depression almost always lifts hours before it starts to rain.

I suspect diet can have a strong influence on mood. Lately I have been eating way more cheese and other high fat foods and I have had less energy for the past week or so. That has made me lethargic and I have had a hard time keeping my interest on anything.

This is highly specific, but if you take Melatonin to help you sleep, only take it at the time you would normally go to sleep. If you can't sleep and take it a few hours after your normal bed time, you may wake up the next morning feeling fine, only to become extremely depressed within an hour of waking. Anyway, that kept happening to me until I noticed the correlation and stopped taking Melatonin outside of my sleep cycle - Since then I haven't had that specific kind of depression.)

I do get lethargic but that's not from any form of dieting or overeating. Might be from sleeping issues... I don't take Melatonin or anything with traces of Melatonin.

Plus weather doesn't really affect whether I become depressed or not.

"Clinical depression" is something I can relate myself to feeling a lot of the time, usually just a small issue will set it off , other times it just seems to come on without it would seem any apparent reason.
At my lowest ebb it feels horrible, nothing gets done unless its urgent, whatever leisurely I do or make seems to take me longer to do due to general invasive feelings of low self esteem.
I'll often sleep a lot as a way of escapism from depression or whatever is bothering me.

It's kind of interesting my doctor put me on an anti-psychotic (risperidone) for my depression. I have absolutely no episodes of psychosis. It is used for bipolar which she believes I don't have, but she thinks at low doses it will elevate my depressive levels. Whatever. It's been working so far.

BTW, this is why I prefer WP over FB. If you went on there with your issues, they'd ignore you or laugh you out of town.

Too true. Mind you anything you say is either ignored or laughed at to make you feel like a fish out of water.
Right... Marvin is too much for me, gonna change that because he's way too depressing for me to talk with as the icon.

Sometimes it takes time to find the right meds, or after a while they meds that have been working need to be changed. Don't give up. I've been through it. It gets better.

Yes a friend of my wife on face book sent this one to me because my wife said I was depressed online. May be you'll like it more than I did. I don't think I want help if it comes like this.

Is it weird that I got it?

Yes no. Lets put this way one aspie asks another is this weird.  It just seems to be the same kind of insensitivity that some of us are accused of. Other people may not see it that way.

PS a joke at my own insensitivity at times of stress, ;'/no insult meant to others.
