I'm not sure if I understand the concept of consequences

Like I push people away and screw up relationships and I don't expect my destructive behavior to make them crack. I do this with therapy and beliefs which I abuse the purpose of in my mind, and I know I'm making myself weak by my lack of care for my heart and mind...I didn't really expect to go this sour...I know that I can and will get better if I focus on reading and writing, though...Maybe I am a natural introvert. I still like working on relationships, though. PM me if you want to be friends or have reading suggestions. I can also give advice and suggest books, although I'm not sure if my advice and book suggestions will be perfectly what you are looking for.

Someone said that to me recently. "pride cometh before the fall" but it was literally a member of the local parish. I don't even go to mass or whatever. meh.

I don't have any advice either because I do pretty much the same thing. The people who stick around with me have to have a high tolerance for me.

As for the pride cometh before a fall thing, my answer to that is for me, 8 tequila shots and somebody's shoes left in the floor is what cometh before a fall.

I can't really offer anything as I've only been on the recieving end.
Is it a natural reaction or can you tell when it is coming?
