Really kinda sad

I looked at all the pics we took tonight. We were dressed up for Halloween. No I was not at my best but that doesn't change my bone structure. In every single picture I look like an old Indian woman. Yes, I have 1/4 Cherokee, but I also have 1/2 Italian. Seems the Indian gene kicked the Italian gene's ass and I truly hate how I look.

I had no idea I was so obviously an Indian. I look textbook Cherokee. That isn't pretty. Maybe I should just go for the look and find respect instead of wishing for people to think I'm pretty.

I hate how I look. I so do!

I don't look bad, I look unlike what I want to look like. Look at the pics of me in Members Only that I just posted. I'm not the one with swirly eye liner or the one with pink hair. I look like a female Geronimo. No s**t.

I don't get it. Since when is looking Indian a bad look??
Do the ghosts of Colonel Custer and Andrew Jackson write
editorials for fashion magazines?

(PS: The photographic perfectionist in me suggests you add another
light source to illuminate your face for the next portrait.
Additional lights also help with focus, camera shake, and ISO issues.)

There's nothing wrong with appearing Cherokee.
I would guess it just makes you look more unique.
Also, I checked the photo thread and like your picture. You can't see your face perfectly well in it though.

Sometimes I feel down about my looks as well thinking how cute some Asians look with their little baby noses. But then I stop worrying about it and get over it. You've gotta be a little proud or accepting of your heritage and looks and such...

Are you kidding me? Native American women are beautiful. Course, I may be biased since I'm about half Native American anyway (mixed with Cherokee and a bunch of others. You can see it in some of my pictures too).
