Been in the Psych Hospital

Its been 5 months since i was last on WrongPlanet, in that time I have been in hospital. I am still in hospital now, but am having a day at home today.

Just wanted to let anyone know i'm still here and will be coming back at some point soon. So please don't delete my account mods. I have been recovering from a psychotic episode, but I am getting better slowly.

Glad to hear you are doing better. I am being admitted to psych hospital tomorrow (a semi-planned admission after two months of regular A&E visits for serious self-harm/attempted suicide). It's for evaluation & diagnosis and then to change my meds if necessary. My psychiatrist says I should be there for a couple of weeks or so. I'm scared of many things, especially that it might turn out to be longer than that.

I have been in hospital since June 1st.

They have set a discharge date for November.

I'm now on the right med's and a lot more stable than i was 6 months ago.

I turned 18 a month ago which is depressing me a bit as i am now entering adult mental health services.

Happy to hear that you are doing better!

It's great your doing better - however the Mods do not have the ability to delete accounts, so even if your account is inactive for a while you don't have to worry about it being deleted.
