Whenever I make a unique criticism against an acclaimed videogame in a forum, people always f*****g react as though I said the world's flat and mock me instead of respecting my opinion, saying I'm exaggerating or acting like I'm silly. Have any of you had this kind of response? Dealing with neurotypical parents is bad enough, but these as*holes really take the f*****g cake.

Hm, once on a final fantasy forum. Two people had what in my opinion were idiotic opinions although I didn't say as much and so I tried to put a different perspective on things.

Keep in mind, this isn't a criticism on a game, this was a critique on a theory about a game. Unfortunately if you dislike anything popular--people get pissy no matter how good or legit the reason is. Chalk it up to them being idiotic fanboys and nothing else.

I go to the SEGA Forums just so I can laugh at each idiotic remark at each other. :P

I am pretty immune to the hate of x game really...

Wait, THIS game forum? The WP Game forum? Or a different one?

But yeah - this is the internet. You have at least a 17% chance of running into those guys at least once a day.

1) People tend to behave with reduced inhibition on the internet. Case and point: visit the Politics forum.
2) People that are that into games are usually either minors or immature adults-some of which may have a type-A personality or some type of inferiority issues.
3) Reducing computer time wouldn't be such a bad idea, or at least reducing game time.
