Just because you feel fine does not mean that you are fine. Please go straight to the emergency room. People here like you and value you. Think about your kids, who love you.

Thank you very much but the nurse (and that's all we have) at the ER wont do squat cept go "WHY YOU DO THAT? You need charcoal?

Talk to your family doctor about it though. You are attacking your body and this is dangerous. These things tend to escalate when not addressed.

I'm not sure, but I seem to remember reading that an overdose of sleeping pills can result in major damage to the kidneys or liver. You could end up being on dialysis the rest of your life.

As I understand it, suicide by sleeping pills is not a good way to die. In many cases, it just doesn't work. When it does, it isn't like going quietly in your sleep. Instead of solving problems, you are more likely to create far more problems to yourself.

You really need to contact someone for professional help with your problems. Suicide is not the answer.

Oh, oliveoilmom. don't you want to see what's around the bend, or maybe a few bends? Things can change for the better. Actual suicide with sleeping pills takes far more than one would think to go all the way to well, death. Having been there at one point in my life, I speak from experience, and it's better to attack the situation than it is to hurt yourself with pills, alcohol, etc.

Exactly.

You need to hurry and get into the E.R. ASAP. This is serious. What prompted you to do this, if I may ask? Talk to us. Or just someone, anyone.
