As it gets close to midnight

Well, 30 minutes. I've got half a bottle of wine left, that I won't drink. I doubt I can finish the glass I have here now. Everybody has gone to bed who is here. My husband, my youngest daughter. He's asleep and she's in bed with a book. Youngest son and his friend are downstairs in my oldest daughters room all playing video games. She's at a party till tomorrow with her fiance. It's me and my dogs.

I've been at my mothers for a week because first I had a stomach bug, then she had it and she had it bad so I had to stay and take care of her. They have got real wolfy for the winter wince I've been gone. I forgot how quick that happens with these dogs. It's cute though, sometimes. The way they guard stuff.

I don't really have a point to this, just sitting here at the wane of the year and wishing I had something to do to mark the new year.

I've been at my mothers. I had a bad stomach bug and was flat on my back for two days, then she got it, and she's 79 and then she was sick for about four days, then she got crazy mean but I still had laundry to finish up so we didn't talk to each other for the last three days that I was there.
