...nobody wants what I've got. I got in trouble at work for coming online and now I'm going to be given even more boring, menial work. I feel like I've got a big black bag over my head. One of my coworkers is in the hoispital nearly dead of meningitis. It should have been me. He makes lots of valuable contributions to the network, and all I do is f*&k off on line all day. I used to be diligent, caring and motivated until I realized that nobody else gave a crap, as long as I looked busy all day. And until I had my son and lost all time for any outside interests.

You're worth a lot more than you think you are. I honestly think you need some chill time. How about one weekend I drive to Bham and buy you lunch and we can just hang out and do whatever we want? You like photography, so we could go see if Karen or Melissa have a show somewhere. I'm sure Karen would know of where some shows are if you want to go. I haven't seen her in forever so I'd have fun too, even though I wouldn't know art if it bit me on the behind.

For real, I'd like to do that with you. I also have minutes on my phone now if you want to call me.

Is there any chance you could find work at another company where the work could be more suited to you? I am also in a somewhat low paying position well below my potential and although the boss, work and colleagues are not bad I know I can do better and hold this hope. We work about 5 and a half days a week and I can never wait to get home and go online. (No internet at work but do use a computer there for certain things like printing barcodes).

Value yourself in all you do, the impression I get of you is of a highly talented individual and devoted mother who is a valued member of WP. I trust that 2013 works out better for you and that you can maybe find something more challenging.

Exactly. How can you maintain caring about something if it's not challenging you?
