Well, not all of them, but 95% of them. I'm sick of trying to remember who has a problem with who in this tiny-ass school, in this tiny-ass town, and why that's the case. It seems like I have one, maybe two, people in my life that aren't involved in this massive cluster f**k of batshit insane high-school type drama. I'm also sick of crazy b*****s screaming their faces off at their ex-boyfriend in my living room all night. I'm sick of people walking through my bedroom to get to the bathroom and piss, s**t, or puke at all hours of the night. I'm sick of my roommate's f*****g cat, I hate cats. I'm sick of listening to people's problems and pretending like I might have a solution, or most of time, that I even care. I'm sick of listening to my friends b***h to me about other people who are my friends. And I'm REALLY f*****g sick of trying to please people that aren't me. I just don't care anymore. It doesn't happen very often, but right now I'm REALLY missing the old days of middle school and high school when I didn't have any friends, and didn't have to deal with this s**t...

OK. End of profanity-laden tirade.

Man, sure is a lot of this "I wanna go back" sentiment going around these days, me included. As for you, I imagine you have Spring Break coming up to look forward to, hopefully you can get a week's worth of distance from all the drama. I know how hard it is to go into Vacation Mode but the break might do you some good.

That's an easy one. :) You can get by quite nicely by forgetting, completely, who has a problem with who. That's their problems.

That one or two folks are pure gold. They are your go-to friends for clarity. Don't lose touch with those two when you disperse.

A wise man once told me that young adults and their parents stop 'getting along' at the time when the offspring needs to launch into his/her independent adult life, because otherwise it would be too hard to separate. Having made each others' lives miserable together facilitates the separation. Could this be what is happening to your friends? They are subconsciously making life at college miserable for themselves; as is needed for them to spring forth from the tribe?

Ugh. Does she need a large cold wet towel thrown on her from the bedroom of a sleep deprived roommate?

Bad architectural floor plan.

Humm. Yep. I've learned to turn that off after a brief hearing, by saying something relevantly positive about the friend being criticized. It's rather unsatisfactory to the complainer and I've lost a few friends that way, over time, but in the long run, it's probably worth it. Too much complaining about okay people makes my spirit swirl downward pretty quickly. Adults don't tend to have as many close friends as they did in college and I believe that some of the reason 'why' is that a certain amount of unintentional but inevitable culling takes place.

It's well written, nevertheless. 8O

Move out, live with Grad Students and foreigners (Asians especially) like I do.
They don't party, they're quiet, and even if they do have high school drama (which I doubt) they don't talk about it.
I can definitely relate to this though, there are people I know that are nearly 30 years old and still act like they're in high school. My understanding of it is that they have nothing better to do with their lives than gossip, start and perpetuate drama etc..
It's kind of the way of the world now, I just stay out of it like hellfire, because you'll only be dragged down into it.
