I can't cook but I can wash my own clothes (learned not long ago) but am not good with putting in the soap and put lots and lots in

This behavoir I don't control somtimes I don't like to do it punching my head etc .. Does anyone know what I mean??? cos I feel like knowone here understands : (

I believe most people here are fairly mild cases compared to yours, I personally don't experience anything that severe, except maybe in times of extreme stress and/or trauma, I feel that way on the inside...

I have similar behaviours when I am very stressed or overwhelmed. I have some control over it, I can postpone it until I am alone and I can usually make myself stop after awhile. I have hit myself until I have caused harm, though, I'm currently recovering from a dislocated thumb from hitting myself repeatedly. I used to have less control and couldn't delay my behaviours. I am verbal but I experience shut downs when I can't speak, although those don't happen too often.
I can cook and clean and I live alone with my cat Niko. Sometimes I worry that I'll end up institutionalized. I sometimes have to use my ipad to speak for me, but only in high stress situations, and I use sign language sometimes. I'm on disability. I know we're in different situations but I think I can understand some of what you are experiencing.

I mostly use previously prepared text files in Voicedream. I have one for medical situations that explains my medical issues, my aspergers, and my allergies. I also have a generic one that explains that I'm overwhelmed and need to sit somewhere quiet or dimly lit and that I will regain my speech once I calm down. I also have a yes/no type app for when I don't have time to type.
