I have had so many wierd experiences over the years. People breaking into my apartment. Leaving photos, letters, goverment stamped documents, keys to live some were else, weird mail and packages. Presents to my son at school. I have notified the police of some of these but they referred me to have some else deal with the problem and says it doesnt concern them. Then I contact some one else and they say contact the police it doesnt concern them.

I don't trust anyone and near everyone I talk to say's "That's good advice you can't trust anyone." If majority of people in this world think that way. Then I don't even feel comfortable to be on this forum.

There may be another way ... Trust, but Verify. This was Ronald Reagan's answer to the Cold War - take people at their word, but make it no secret that you will actively verify their claims.

Trusting no one beyond this works for me, since I have rarely been disappointed, and even pleasantly surprised on a few occasions.

Expect nothing from anyone, and you'll never be disappointed, only pleasantly surprised.

Wow, that is majorly weird. I would be freaking out! Do you think it's the landlord? A boyfriend? An ex-boyfriend who still has the key to your home/apartment? Did you ask your son who gave him the gift? Did you ask the school who gave it to him or left it to him? You could tell the school that they are not to accept any gifts for your son from now on and tell them to tell that person they cannot leave gifts in the school or they will be thrown out.

If I were you, I would get survailance in your apartment if you don't have it already so you can catch the perp in action! It's not that expensive, then I would then file charges for tresspassing and harrassment. Seriously, this is strange and I could see how this would cause you to have trust issues but don't blame the world. I'm sure it's just one person harrassing you.
