Not only the UK has unseasonable snow we've got to contend with, we've got many many more weeks of freezing temperatures because this f*****g icy wind from f*****g Russia and Norway, and now they are thinking of cutting off all our gas and power supplies, or giving us less which still isn't good enough. Well that's just f*****g great isn't it. More s**t to f*****g contend with, all because those f*****g miserable ice-cold places have to give us their miserable sh***y weather. When will the UK get a descent summer? Or a proper spring? All our animals are dying, there's no beautiful flowers or insects or leaves on trees appearing here, God I HATE THIS f*****g COUNTRY!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

I can't live without power or gas, we use power at work, and I live on my computer at home, I can't sit there every night in the dark and cold looking at my c**t of a brother I'll f*****g commit suicide!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! I HATE BRITAIN IT'S TURNING INTO A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, FIRST IT'S OVERTAKEN BY sh***y GOVERNMENT THAT PICK ON THE LOW INCOME BRITISH, NOW IT'S OVERTAKEN BY EAST WEATHER f*****g CAN LIFE GET ANY WORSE!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !

Relax. It's all in your imagination. Because of Global Warming, it quit snowing in Britain.

From http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/snowfalls-are-now-just-a-thing-of-the-past-724017.html:
Quote:
Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past

Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.

Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain's culture, as warmer winters - which scientists are attributing to global climate change - produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries.

...

However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

"Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

The effects of snow-free winter in Britain are already becoming apparent. This year, for the first time ever, Hamleys, Britain's biggest toyshop, had no sledges on display in its Regent Street store. "It was a bit of a first," a spokesperson said.

Fen skating, once a popular sport on the fields of East Anglia, now takes place on indoor artificial rinks. Malcolm Robinson, of the Fenland Indoor Speed Skating Club in Peterborough, says they have not skated outside since 1997. "As a boy, I can remember being on ice most winters. Now it's few and far between," he said.

Michael Jeacock, a Cambridgeshire local historian, added that a generation was growing up "without experiencing one of the greatest joys and privileges of living in this part of the world - open-air skating".

You could move to Loch Ness. It doesn't look bad there:

By the way, a radio show from the Isle of Man the other day mentioned that there were places where the sheep on some hillsides were stuck in the snow with only their heads sticking out and ravens were plucking out their eyes and tongues.

Eric76 when did you find that article? For most of the 90s UK winters had hardly no snow at all, but in the last 5-6 years we've had colder winters with more snow. It's been snowing nearly every other week for 3 months now, and there's still no remotely warm weather in the horizon, and we're nearly into April.

Also I found this, which has given me massive panic attacks and dread:-

I originally read those claims some time ago so when I saw your post, I remembered the claims and couldn't help digging up an article. Note that the article was from March 20, 2000.

For what it's worth, I'm in favor of Global Warming. If Global Warming can bring us out of this ice age that we've been in for over two million years or at least postpone the onset of the next period of glaciation in this ice age, mankind will be major winners. The real disaster would be Global Cooling.

Just think what happens when the next period of glaciation occurs. Imagine a sheet of ice hundreds or thousands of feet thick covering the entire British Isles.

UK winters suck. Better yet, government management of UK winters suck. When I was trying to fly out of Heathrow in Christmas 2010, there was some snow on the ground and freezing temperatures. They had trouble deicing the planes, and pretty much shut down the airport for about a week. Heathrow is a terrible airport to begin with.

I like the UK a lot. But you guys have terrible infrastructure. Sorry, but you do.

A few years ago, I read that because of global warming the ocean currents are changing. The currents had brought warmer weather than England would normally have because of their latitude. Global warming does not mean warmer weather for everyone.

*It's just so disappointing. I hate snow and cold weather anyway, and it's bad enough having to endure it in winter, but normally I trust it will end around this time of the year, but this year it hasn't. We are caught up in an ongoing cycle and I am worrying about when it will end.

If you hate it so much, move?
It's quite inexpensive to live in India.

That was based on the idea that if you dump enough fresh water into the current, it would disrupt the current.

The reality is that it would take far more fresh water than Global Warming can possibly produce for that to happen.

The problem with Global Warming is that a great many people are trying to come up with the worst results of extreme Global Warming and then present them as if they are actually possible. It does nothing but create panic.

The worst thing about Global Warming is not that it might exist, but that it might not exist.

I would, and we all would, if it were that simple.

Even though the whole Northern Hemisphere has been white with snow this year, they are still desperately trying to get us to believe we are all going to die if we dont pay higher taxes and carbon credits to combat "Global Warming" tm, so, to get the masses to still believe despite the endless cold, the latest message is that it is supposed to be even colder than this, so "Global Warming"tm is still doing its nasty thing, by making the cold, less cold than it should be, so they tell us.

CNN LINK TO GLOBAL WARMING

Now things that worry me,
You may remember the BP oil spill and cleanup scandal in the Gulf of Mexico a year or two back, some were saying that what BP have done, is stop the Gulf Stream that warms the waters around Britain, preventing us from having the cold we should get at this latitude.
So I wonder if this is the case, and will it ever start again?

Chemtrails, most people are too young to remember how blue the sky used to be and how jet exhausts didn't hang around all day to believe in this "conspiracy", but if you do a bit of simple research, you will find its not a conspiracy, it is an admitted thing, to drop a layer of aluminum particles across the sky to reflect the suns rays and make the world colder to prevent "Global Warming"tm.

Thing is, have they gone too far and reflected to much warmth into space?
Have they failed in their attempt to play God by altering the delicate balances of nature and disrupted the path of the Jet Streams?

You're the only one who makes it complicated.

Wow. I feel sorry for you guys. England has virtually zero natural resources, my understanding is that it's a volcanic island like Japan (except your volcanoes are extinct) and had depended for centuries on a vast empire to supply it with raw materials. The empire is a memory now, and so is your industrial base, having fled to more inviting countries. At least the USA has plenty of natural gas and oil, so many new fields have opened up with new techniques like fracking that we may actually be a net EXPORTER of energy in 20 years. Manufacturers are talking about bringing back our industrial base with all this cheap oil we've got. I feel sorry that your ancestors didn't have the common sense to come over here when it was easy to do so. If you had seen this coming, you could have invested in a solar panel, a car battery, an inverter, and a satellite dish, so you could still get internet.
