I use to have an account, until I acted like a dick and did some really bad things. I tried forgiveness, but they found that stupid and punched me in the face. Now I feel bad. Can you help me?

They don't understand. Maybe they never will.

No, I don't deserve that. I acted like Lucifer and Narcissus combined into one and that is really shameful. It was the old falling of all men: Pride. I now lost the pride, and I think I am all the better for it. I feel disgusted with myself. What was I thinking? It happens to everyone, I guess. I also went through the stages of Icarus today, I now know what I have, and what my problem is, or at least was: Excessive Hubris. I think this is a problem that everyone who looks good and is smart and all goes through. It's just embarrassing and shocking how I acted. That, I think, is the best words for it.

And now, my word for this wretched thing I have:

Elni's syndrome.

Elni stands for "Echo-Lucifer-Narcissus-Icarus" as they all share one trait in common: Hubris.

Now, I ask you here: Have you ever had Hubris, and if so, how embarrassed where you of the things you said?
