Well, it was a couple months ago but basically I'd been turned down from 27 job apps and decided to volunteer at a charity shop.

Worked mon-sat, 9am-5pm for three months and things seemed OK.

Then I had to quit because I saw the retail manager being aggressive towards an elderly volunteer and when I reported it HR told
me that because I'm "an asperger's" I perceive things differently.

Now I'm back to someone I know from primary school coming over and playing games once every 3-6 months as my only non-family human contact.

I can't get help because of an instance where a receptionist attacked me because she was embarassed I'd waited around 6 hours for my new therapist
to show up when actually they had come 30 mins after I had and she told the therapist I never showed up because she didn't know it was me. I ended
up smashing my glasses and tearing my coat apart on the way home. Even though I got a letter of apology from MIND and a copy of her official
warning I can't go to any therapy place because of it.

What I'm thinking is to try to work for a supermarket for free somehow but I imagine there are laws against that.

All of this sounds very bizarre.

Personally, I think if your time is worth something, it's worth paying for. Don't go around looking for "work for free" work.

Put some value on yourself, and others will value you too.
