One of the most beautiful and saddest pieces I have heard in a long time. I actually cried for 10 minutes after hearing this piece in the car for the first time at the humbled age of 19...

first heard this in the post-bombing scene in Platoon. then saw it used sarcastically in a video describing the "endangered" rich people in the US. sad and gorgeous.

Barber's Adagio for Strings in Em, Op. 11 can cause anyone on the verge to slash their wrists. The haunting music of Philip Glass also makes me want to slash my wrists.

Just in case you didn't read the title of this post...go ahead and kill me, as (by most NT standards) a man should not be so sensitive to music; alas, I am very sensitive to music. This piece can lead me to tears at times.

Scott Joplin -- Bethena A Concert Waltz

This was done by Joplin shortly after his wife passed away. I get the chills everytime I listen to it. I can't help but feel the sorrow and loss he put into this piece whether it was intentional or not.
