Mother in hospital

Hey guys, just wanted you to know that my mother is in the hospital in the ICU. Back on Tuesday, she was admitted for pneumonia and two days later, it looked as though she would be headed home. Unfortunately, she was taken to the ICU that day and has been there ever since. Even though she has been improving, we as a family have quite a long road ahead of us, and no one is sure what will lie ahead at the end of that road. All I'm asking is that you pray to your God for both her and us during this difficult time. Thank you very much.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your mom. It can be a long, unpredictable process. My dad has been suffering complications of his pneumonia for two years now. I hope your mom will have a better outcome. Take care.

I agree. Pneumonia is something you don't screw around with. You also don't screw with bronchitis. I had MAJOR problems with both as a kid. From what I was always told, I almost died at 6 months of age. It has only been since I got out of college that I haven't had a bout of pneumonia (allergies, however, are a different story. The pollen gets quite heavy here in the Mid-Atlantic states in the spring and the fall. I discovered a few years ago from an ENT specialist that I have a hole in my nose. He asked me if I snorted cocaine. I answered him, in no uncertain terms, HELL NO!
