How do you actually stop giving off negative vibes?
Another thing the OP should keep in mind is that in my experience (at least here in Canada) most quiet young women your age have an incredibly stuck up and arrogant attitude like God himself is too good for them and I imagine this is probably similar in every western nation. Sadly, I tend to lump all shy/introverted girls into this category because I have been burned so many times. Most young women I've seen seem to think that the only reason someone would say hello is if they are trying to get into their pants or their purse and as a result, I refuse to greet or speak to a woman under say age 25 until they say hi first. That might be the reason right there in that it's nothing you personally are doing at all, just your demographic in general.
I'm not so sure about the 'everyone can pick up your vibes' comment, as I have been told I am very friendly and happy when the truth is I am anything but happy.
I work in a supermarket and we get Mystery Customers coming in and making mental notes on who says hello, goodbye, makes eye contact, knows about the products, etc.
Last month our store lost points because our greetings were "too mechanical" and "lacked warmth". So, mostly NT workers let the points down because the customer didn't feel enough warmth from the workers.
*sigh* Some people are never happy, right? No matter how you try, no matter how many social tick boxes you cross off, there will be something not perfect.
I mention this story because I feel like NT people can learn by being scruntanized and rated by Mystery Customers how difficult it can be to try your hardest, only to be told you're social skills still aren't good enough to please.
I was told I did not make enough eye contact and was costing the shop So, it was the first time that I was told my social interactions aren't good enough. Its only by working in shop I have failed social expections, which are expected to be 100% perefct in order to maxismism profits.

Not sure if I have it or not.
To the OP - when you see someone, what is the first thing that you think?
You can change that to "Hello" or "I like you" or "I bet you're really nice inside"
Do this with total conviction, without any cynical thinking, for a couple of days and see what changes.

I am firmly convinced that our thoughts have some form and some connection, we just don't see it.
I think you're doing the absolute correct thing in noticing what it is you like about yourself, and I suggest that you make this a daily practice.
When I was in high school I didn't date or party, but I had friend's mothers who SERIOUSLY distrusted me for no reason at all. I would go stay at my friend Amy's and we would read and discuss the Dune novels, etc. together, and then one day Amy told me that her mom said I couldn't stay over anymore because she thought we were drinking and smoking weed in Amy's room since we were so quiet. UM, YEAH. My friend Sara's mom asked her if I had a boyfriend yet (didn't date or kiss a boy until college), and when Sara told her no, she asked her if I was "Just a slut" then, since I wasn't paired up with one guy. UM, NO. I WAS PROBABLY IN MY ROOM READING DUNE WHILE EVERYONE ELSE WAS LOSING THEIR VIRGINITY.
Since I've learned about Aspergers, I think that it might have to do with a few things: A) they're b*****s, B) maybe I didn't make eye contact or do other things that indicate that I'm trustworthy.
I used to really dislike people and not understand them. Now I have learned that thinking good thoughts about myself and others increases good interactions...so much to the point now that instead of people thinking I'm up to no good people tell me that I look angelic or that I look "so innocent." Total 180, right? It's hard for me to do this when people are mean and untrustworthy themselves (if they're nasty gossips or if they steal from the company), but focusing on things I like keeps me in a good mood. I think when you feel good about yourself and you are thinking good things about life in general, you have a glow, and other people like this.
I still make faux pas, see someone on the train that I know and freeze up for fear of making small talk. If they ask me about it later, I'll say I had to take my contacts out earlier that day because my eyes were hurting, and then apologize. Nobody's perfect.
I suggest MAMA GENA'S SCHOOL OF WOMANLY ARTS by Regena Thomashauer for learning how to have a nice glow. Also HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE, which is not weird and manipulative, it's mostly about being kind and thoughtful.
I don't think there's anything about a person that can just be "bad". I've learned that there's more to open body language than posture, such as leaning in a little bit when talking to someone, making sure my arms aren't crossed, my shoulders aren't tense, and trying to make my smile look genuine. It's really hard when it's not natural, but some people will ignore you no matter what, anyway.
I also worry that I give off a negative vibe. I think I commit many errors of omission, such as not seeming interested enough in the other person, because maybe I don't ask enough specific questions. I also don't nod my head as much as others do around me when one person in a group is speaking.
If someone is sharing something very personal and troubling to them, I don't lean my body forward or face my body more in their direction (I know a super NT person who takes the cue immediately and not only moves her body to face the person - but actually comes over to sit closer to the person to comfort them).
My voice lacks emotional depth, and I probably seem unempathetic. I also don't know what to say to seem really interested in the other person even though I try. (Usually, I'm interested in one small aspect of what the person shared and want to perseverate on that rather than keep up with the flow of the conversation).
