I lost a friend today...

He died this afternoon.

He was diagnosed with leukemia last June, was on an intubator due to fungal pneumonia for the past two weeks up until the end. I was halfway expecting it, but this still feels unreal. :cry:

I am sorry for the loss of You friend, be in comfort that he died in peace.

I know someone close to me whos currently fighting for there life after a violent attempt on their lives.

@Fisplen: I hope he makes it--I am sorry you are both going through that.

Someone at work today told me that it never really gets "better", but that it is "easier" to deal with it as time passes...I hope that's true, for me and his entire family, especially his twin brother who has "lost his other half."
