Im probably going to be thought of as a drama king for this but I guess as a man my opinions dont matter and im not allowed to stick up for myself when it comes to male bashing and misandry im not even trolling and I wanted to be helpful and humorous according to a certain mansplaning thread but I guess I cant do that either. Our opinions are garbage and if we disagree its trolling! Melting down right now and probably going to leave WP.

I want both our male and female members of WrongPlanet to be valued and treated with respect.

Please try and find a way to stay.

It's not about being male or female. It's about being human. You either behave as a decent human being or you don't. You have to look at your own actions and determine if you have behaved honorably.

I suppose as a generalization, female aspies tend to end up in abusive relationships and male aspies tend to end up socially isolated.

Of course, there are all kinds of exceptions and other human experiences to this generalization, including positive outcomes where people find good relationships and personal happiness, or at least one of the two most of the time.

Are you talking in general, or for one thread in particular? I haven't noticed any comments excessively by either gender here, so it seems okay, but without knowing your specific situation its impossible to see whether you're being a drama king or are legitimately having people comment unfairly on you.

If you don't want to get your feelings hurt, quit posting in the women's discussion! You don't belong there. It is for women only.

Do you post in the sections for people under 18 as well, even though you are in your 30's?

I don't see how you have a right to be offended.

Yeah, seriously. It's a forum for women to discuss things with other women, not some platform for MRA crusading.

OP, maybe you could start a men's forum. You ought to be allowed, it's only fair.

Ahh, the old aspie issue of tact. I struggled with this one for years, and while it can be hard for me to shut my mouth sometimes in certain situations, I've found that oftentimes, in a situation where what you want to say may have the potential to seriously offend someone, the best thing to do is to just not say anything.

In this case, speaking out against feminism in the "Women's Discussion" section is generally not a good idea. Now, I won't say that there's anything wrong with contributing to the discussions there if you're a man, but you know, it is a section specifically geared towards females, so you have to be mindful of that.

For the record, I don't support masculism, and I don't support feminism either. What I do support is equality. Men and Women aren't the same, but one is not superior to the other. They are different, but equal at the same time. This is my view on it. Rather, this is a simplified version of my view on it, because I know that gender can be a very complex issue, and that the male/female dichotomy doesn't apply to a lot of people.

So if theres a male bashing thread and im not allowed to state my opinion I have no right to be offended? I don't post in sections for people under 18 either that's creepy and sick. And as for not belonging there heres some the rules regarding womens discussion http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt181819.html Just saying.

I suppose if men arent allowed to share opinions or anything helpful for women then I suppose were not allowed then and rules need to be changed. Im no longer going to provide advice or post there ever again then. If a male bashing thread is made then I suppose im not allowed to stick up for myself and just let it fly.
