Watching others I do must say,
We are more then the sum of the scars beneath our skin,
More then the truths that we use like knives to exorcise our own brains.,
More then the hate others try and tell us what to think,
More then whom we share bodies with when we ache.
For how can this not be, when this sameness is what I feel and how unconceivable others not the same.
Yet, You want the world to kiss your feet, when less then equal will you not meet.
And the things you at times say to me, is like heresy to my soul, when I only wanted to be held.
Walking by I see you turn your gaze, I wanted smiles and only came away with pain.
From your hearts anger at those whom has betrayed, you bleeds over into mine my eyes,
With skin like steel, how care you make things worse.
I am not you I am someone else, your just whispers of your own fears.
A lone wolf cries out for that one that is different from all the same, only to hear no reply, other then more of the same.
Echoes in the shadows dawn, as fantasy wants of play, of joy and hands to hold, whispers in disbeliefs at the excitements told.
It all turns to dust with the silence of the years. heart felt tears fall into rust, as only solitude offers its trust..
Whispers of the fear.
