Post whether or not you have given up on life. Yes / no, +1 / -1 will do.

+1.

What is keeping you wanting to live ATM? Just out of curiosity? Family? Friends? Partner(s)? Money? Responsibility? Life satisfaction?

No.

Curiosity is keeping me alive. I never know what the future brings to me. So I want to wait and find out. Since I am already in this world I want to learn and experience as much as I can before I die. I am an alien checking out this planet, right? :D

Have I given up on life? That really depends who you ask. I definitely haven't given up on earth.

Come close to implementing my suicide plan 3 times in the last fortnight. The humans mostly hate me for being different, and the feeling is increasingly mutual. I'm mostly still alive to spite them.

Keep in mind one can change outcomes by sufficiently measuring them.

Your reply has been my favourite although your profile picture scares the s**t out of me. Do not kill yourself friend, if you do the NT's win.. Inb4 people show up to say that AS are not at war with NT's... I never said we are. NT's are at war with AS's and they do not realise that they are.

Sorry I can't figure out how to rate it with your scale...but to answer the initial question I am not really sure if I have given up on life or not.

I've never given up. I've never seriously considered suicide, although i think about it frequently. But there were plenty of stretches, some lasting well over a year, where i seriously wondered why i was bothering.

I don't know if in the end I will feel life was worth it. Often i feel it would be better to have never been born at all. But sometimes i take a good photograph and that helps me understand reality in a way that interacting with people never does. And sometimes i think if i can just take a few good images, being alive would have been worth it.

I have given up on MY life. The only "meaning" or way I can validate my penance for the sin of birth is to devote myself wholly to others.

Being the eldest child and growing up where I did help'd shape that too, but now I feel like a family guard dog, with no family. And I really want someone to bite.
