Sorry.My adopted mom died when I was a teen.You are never ready for that,no matter what age you are.
I was with an elderly friend when he passed,I was the only person in the room.It was sad,but not scary like I thought it could be.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my Dad on 4/18/14. He had pancreatic cancer but was supposedly doing well and responding to chemo. I think there was malpractice. Too much to think about.

I am so sorry this is happening to you, your mom, and your family.
