Anyone else feel like their life is just dull.
I'm 20 years old, other than knowing I want to do something sports related, I have no idea what I'm suppose to do with my life. I'm going to to college in August, but it's just a one year program with worldview studies, after that i'm back to square one. I want adventure, I'd love to just travel the world, go to different sporting events, see new places, i'd love that. However while my family is definitely not poor, we're not rich either and the chances of me ever being able to do that is slim. I don't know, my life just feels really dull right now. I don't know why i'm here, what i'm suppose to do with my life. Sorry I just needed to rant a little.

I do, too. And, that is exactly what I want right now.
My life has been quite busy and sometimes chaotic. Having ordinary daily and weekly routines is important to me. But, I also have days that bore me. I would choose my life now than the previous one. After all, you can create your own excitement, but it is almost impossible to slow down the chaos that happens sometimes.
That said, I try to enjoy every experience for what it is.

YES. I live a short distance outside of a small town in the middle of nowhere, and I don't drive or party or pick up chicks or smoke pot or do petty crimes, which are pretty much the only forms of recreation around here for many people. I also don't have a job at the moment, as I quit my grocery job of 5 months about a month ago, and I haven't really made any progress on getting another one as of yet.
My life's been a little bit more eventful lately, but it's not been anything terribly special. I still need to get my high school diploma and further my education. FFS, right now I'm at the age where a lot of people have already attended post-secondary education for a couple of years.
I'm 32. Been there, done that. Best advice I can give is to go to college and get a 2 or 4 year degree in something that is in demand. Otherwise a year or so of training school in something that interests you that pays well.
It's hard to understand the importance of money when you're young... once you have to pay rent every single 30 days and pay for food and clothes and all your other bills you quickly spend money and have nothing left to even LEAVE the house.. much less travel.
Focus on your studies. Don't stress, don't overthink, just graduate.
You'll have the rest of your life to worry about how you want to spend it, but at least you'll have some power of choice over it.
