Terrible wreck this morning up the road from me

Wow, this as horrible. I heard all about it at the grocery store a minute ago. Early this morning, the mayor was starting on his school bus route and he as coming up the road and an old man where my mother used to live pulled out in front of him. He hit him because he was right there and it killed the old man. Our mayor is the nicest boy and I hear he's all messed up in the head about this. He couldn't have stopped, and the old man probably just looked up the hill to his right instead of also down toward the red light to his left. The mayor as coming from the red light and had to get some speed up to make it up that hill so he was going about 45 or 50. That's the speed limit there, 45, but some vehicles have to go a bit faster to get up the hill cause it's steep and everybody knows that. Trucks and busses have to almost always. I know I mainly pay more attention to looking up the hill when I'm pulling out of there, I guess thats what the old man did too.

Sad.
