It seems like the only way is down from here. I was deluding myself to think I was a person that added value to humanity but I'm no more valuable than the millions of other people consuming oxygen on this planet. Much of my life is a hot mess and I struggle to hang on. I failed. I lost.

Whether anyone is more valuable than anyone else is questionable, but why do you assume that being one out of millions/billions makes you not valuable? You might have 'failed' less than you think.

Your life may be a hot mess, but there is guaranteed to be at the very least one teeny tiny part which can be tidied (metaphorically speaking). Focus on that. Then repeat.
