Anything that was mine to give. That pretty much leaves out another person's life, our house, and my immortal soul. Almost anything else is fair game (and probably a good trade).

I would not give up ever seeing my kids or my husband again.

Nothing. What I want is to be accepted for who I am, so for that I would give up... hmm, that's a hard one. I wouldn't want to give up my lifelong talent for drawing cartoons. I can live in a world where people with Asperger's are misunderstood but not without my cartoons. I'd have to think about it. Maybe the internet. I'll be in some serious withdrawl at first, but I'm sure I'll learn to live without it, and start spending more time with my other hobbies, including drawing cartoons.

Nothing. It is part of who I am.

^^^ Same here. My AS gave me life experiences and wisdom I otherwise wouldn't have and I'd be a completely different person. I wouldn't trade it for anything, not even for the car collection of my dreams or for all the success I could want.

I wouldn't give up anything. I like to celebrate all of my differences and AS is one of those differences.

It is a waste of time to think about this because it's impossible to get rid of it.

I would probably give up my left arm. I could afford a prosthetic. i would even give my right arm, and learn to write with my left hand.

Nothing - it's just part of who I am as a person. It allows me to think about things that neurotypicals don't really worry about.

Nothing, I would give everything to change NTs. I see our condition as evolution in process. If more people could be rational, this world would be a helluva lot better off.
