I'm sick of having this need of "love". No matter what I wanted to do in life, I always have this need of someone to come into my life and make it "better". I'm well aware that alone time is a great place to improve and what I'm asking is it possible to just stop caring about getting into ANY kind of relationship? (no friends, no gf) I feel like my life will be better and that I can get things done when I'm a emotionless robot. its noir that or I kill myself.

I think it's the endless rejection that hurts more than simply being alone. If we Aspies were each granted our own private island with nothing but a cat, we would all be fine. But I think it has a lot to do with the sense of bereftness, of seeing others don't want us and that we don't have what everybody else has.

I don't want to grow up being old and bitter because other people aren't me and had the chance to experience "love". I want to stay focus on my future careers without that nonsense or just kill myself. Not having a deep relationship with someone( even on this godforsaken website) can just ruin your mind if you're not willing to put up with being depressed. I think my mind would be happier if I can just forget about the rat race of love. Death or not.

I agree. Even though I do want a relationship being around other people can sometimes be more lonely than actually being alone.

I see a lot of lonely people on here. I sometimes wonder why they don't talk to each other. Shyness? Don't want something long distance?
