*TRANSPORTATION [advice on the ins and outs of it]
*ANSWERS [how to negotiate the Seattle social services]
*GUIDANCE [how to get his mail from his California mailbox, et al]
*STORAGE [a SECURE place for his stuff so he doesn't have to carry it all with him all the time]. also needs rugged backpack for storage/transport for stuff he must carry with him.

...Okay , I will talk about myself , thank you , AB :-) .
I (I assume you can read my long long " amputation " post for my backstory , it's just the last page or so of it that directly relates to what I want/need now , not the earlier .) really DO want to have that operat7ion - as it is nessecary , apparently , I mean :-( - The thing is , I justt want to get some of the things involving my San Jose mail that - even after ssending mail , with a box key so he will send back my deosit for it as well ~ Um , I've received nothing from the San Jose mailbox . And never will ?
Looking like it . Especially in my position .
This includes personal mail , money , what could be termed legal papers , magazines , more ! :( I'd like , briefly , to at least start on getting at least replacements sent .
I'd also like to , brioefly , arrange things so I can have , while post-having both my big toes ampputated , WHICH IS WHAT THE OPERATION WOULD BE , have some publications I sent to AB in the past sent to me , likewise some CDs - so , with there , for one , I could have some music to inspire me in LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN , which IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE TO DO !
I'd also like some means to , while in recovery , be able to maintain Internet contact/reading , not to mention , if I had non-interrupted 'Net access , being able to do some (brifly) " writing at length " that I can't do now , at an " hour-a-day " basis .
It's not , BTW , that " getting an amputation would be a ticket to getting housing " ~ Nope .

I anticipate that , afyter some recovery , I might be homeless again ~ I see homeless people with worse amputation/wheelchair situations that " just " having 7&1/2 toes .
I have to carry much too much stuff around all day , even if I have a shelter slot at night , it exausts me , and , no , shelters do not get me a locker to leave things or anything , believe me ! ~ And it's really starting to get cold here :( .
I am rather underdressed ~ and it's likely to snow soon , apparently , I haven't been in snow in eighteen years ~

...I have put a new post up , in the " MAIN " forum , where I propose a way I could be helped , letting me go in for the operation ~ which would Also let me get out of this ultra-cold ~ and only going to get colder ! ~ Seattle weather .
I REALLY DO want to get the operation , you know ~ inasmuch as it's nessecary :( but , I'd like to make the recovery afterward pleasant ~ :(

....Unfortunately (briefly) , I could not get admitted into the hospital here in Seattle , which I THOUGHT had deefinitely said that the would provide me with the - much-needed , I suppose :? - operation , and the rehab afterwards ~ However , when I went up there last night , they ended up not admitting me - and kicking me out , with nothing , at 2:30 in the morning ! :(
I may do something to try to get into the psych ward briefly , just for a place to stay temporarily ~ I gave up my shelter bed when I didn't show up for curfew yesterday night  ~ I was , basically , staying up here to try and get the operation , now , if that is impossible ~ Well , I think I REALLY , really , need help now !

This is why the American healthcare system is f****d up. In Canada, we don't kick people who need treatment out of hospitals.

i could offer all services free of charge, unfortunately i've since moved from seattle :?

seattle is usually pretty good about caring for the homeless though, i don't know where they keep the tents up now a days. i also know king country metro's fares are relatively inexpensive and take you anywhere throughout king county.
