I'm still at my new years party and I awoke because my best friend and a girl I were dating, were having sex. This is the worst day of my life and this is the first new years I didn't celebrate with my parents. Why am I so lame? ; (

I don't even try to do anything on New Year's Eve anymore. It seems like every time I do something bad happens. I might as well stay home where I know I am safe. I think there is so much alcohol and everything floating around that bad things are just bound to happen.

I didn't think I would lose a friend and a girl at the same time. Is there any point to even try, if things like this happen?

I don't do anything for New Year's Eve. I never really have. It's just another day/night for me. A few CDs and some mock margaritas get me through until Midnight. I might put on a Kinks T-shirt and yell, "Happy New Year!" than step back into my time machine.

It's sad to think that me is all that I'll ever have. And I knew it will be hard to aquire and maintain a relationship, but I didn't expect it to end before it started with a person I trust the most.

I'm also sorry to hear your Crappy New Year's story.

The worst thing is facing this embarrassment. I can't leave since my best friend (now ex friend I guess) has the keys. I'm in his flat.

Why does absolutely the worst thing has to happen in life when there's a tiny prospect of something nice? And it's despite doing all I can.

That's one of the reasons I've decided to live the single life at a young age, so stuff like that wouldn't happen to me.

Look on the bright side. You can start off this year free of two unreliable friends.

Ok, I've skyped today with her. She said nothing would've worked. She didn't like my monotonous voice and odd walk. She said she needs a dude. Apparently, I'm not dude enough.

The guy is the only real friend I had. He's the first person who asked me for a drink ever. The girl is the only other person who did that too. She's the only person I've dated in my life.

I'll have to start my social life from the scratch.
