It seems like every board I go to gives infractions and warnings when I get paranoid because of misunderstandings. I misinterperate things and get defensive for apparently no reason, and flaming starts.

Just stick to WP then. Most message boards are horrible. I mean, I got banned from a few Legend of Zelda forums because I started flame wars and that. I complained about not owning a Nintendo Wii, and they banned me. I also got a tad bit paranoid when someone edited my post and put a picture of crap there instead a photo of me. I could have got a warning for something I didn't do, I I decided to disapear from the forum just in case it happened again. Next time my friend asks me to join a forum, the answer will be 'no'.

It really depends on who the forum administrator and moderators are. The few forums that I frequent have decent moderating teams and the forum that I admin for really doesn't have very many people, so it would be difficult to have a misunderstanding that gets out of hand.

I've also had issues on other message boards, especially if the admins are extremely NT. I've been accused of starting flame wars, when all I did was express my opinion that wasn't too popular. Now, I basically stick to posting on WP and other aspie boards, but there are a couple of other boards that are more accepting of a good debate, so I only post on those as well.

No question its harder for me to post on some other forum sites with out getting warnings or my post deleted. I tend to read more at
the other sites and post more on WP.

Odd. I feel more at home on another board - but it's filled with teenage boys - which is probably what I am at heart. Actually though, a number of them scored pretty damned high on the AS scale. The big thing is that the rules are looser there (though flame wars and netspeak are right out), and I'm more familiar. Though I'm making friends here (slowly).
