I was going to post in Work & Job Finding, but then I realized that I am not all that excited about my job cleaning for the local mental health charity. I don't think I'm too good for it. In fact, it's a great opportunity to learn transferable skills.

I'm just tired of being broke, of not really having anything to offer. And of being alone.

I feel dead inside.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way, Ann.

But you won't be broke soon--after you get your first paycheck from this place.

And you're not alone. At the very least, you have us on WrongPlanet.

Try to think of it this way: you're in a new apartment, away from the bad area. You're paying less for it (if I'm not mistaken).

Sorry you feel this way. I don't think you are a loser. You are a good person.

You've had a lot of change lately and some difficult decisions to make, thats got to impact on how you feel. I'm sorry that your having a tough time now, your doing the right things, and are definitely not a looser.

Thanks. I am in a dark place right now. Too much change at once for sure.
The health inspector inspected my dog this afternoon and he doesn't have rabies so now I just have to wait for the vet to call.
I finished the last of my job trials today, so hopefully by next week I will be starting cleaning and get a paycheck again.
I just wish the vet would call.

I wish I could give you more than a written {{{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}.

I wish you had a good friend over where you live.

Everything's going to be okay. Things are actually looking up for you, I believe.
