Recently I noticed that these particular dragon figurines that stood at the windowsill of one of the flats below me had disappeared... I, of course, only really noticed the disappearance of the resident after the new, more demonic one had been replaced in the flat... with really loud music... and I happen to be two floors above this flat.

So, I am obviously writing this down now because I keep worrying... yesterday I threatened the police to do something or they'll "end up investigating a murder case instead". Not that in reality I even want to confront her at all, but, of course, when the problem becomes massive that is inevitable... I knocked on her door twice so far to try to politely tell her... but, inherently combative people do nothing polite and ignore all logic.

They supposedly sent some policeman to talk to her after my call yesterday (I hate even having to resort to what I've always thought a corrupt organization, but never mind...) and so far so good, but it's always been a matter of time, even after I told her twice, until I have some base beats sent straight to my bones...

So, I suppose I'm trying to say that I might end up dead or something, since the only thing left is to confront her aggressively now... wish me luck, since for all I know she associates with a gang who she can send to bash my skull in in my own flat (obviously, I'm trapped here and she naturally knows where I live).

GODDAMN SOCIETY THAT COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT WHOEVER ENDS UP TRAPPED WITH WHOMEVER!! !

Hey buddy, please try not to overreact. I am not entirely sure what the main problem is: is it the loud music? I myself hate loud music as well, but can tolerate it as long as I'm not trying to sleep, as I can put my own music on at other times, to block out the unwanted music.

Remember the person just one floor above this flat is probably suffering as well or more... sound tends to rise and so it would be better to have such a flat above you, were that possible.

I'm fully aware of your sensitivity to noise and hope you can resolve this through social services or council noise services, or whatever they call it... best of luck.

Things have escalated to the very edge now and thanks to society's indifference when squeezing people on top of each other I feel that there's nothing left for me to do now except to make a direct, real threat (yesterday I said I'd destroy her speakers but it would be unwise to barge in her flat anyway, since there's usually multiple people)... so, I'm going to take a knife and MAKE her to shut those f*****g speakers. Not planning to actually use it, of course, and hopefully they won't further confront me with a knife in my hand, but I can't take it anymore... I can't.

Honestly, I wish I'd do and have none of this nonsense... but no one else give a f**k besides those affected. Heck, MPs wouldn't propose legislation to deal with this more efficiently since they probably live in cosy, detached housing, forced to bear no one's potentially hellish life.

I HATE PEOPLE!! !

Wiltshire is a very nice area.

I don't think threatening the person will accomplish anything. It might backfire on you. Perhaps call up Council Headquarters and complain.

If you confront the person, trouble might ensue. Most people don't understand sensory sensitivities.

I have to agree with all the above.

Violence isn't the solution, even if you feel like it, because you may make things even worse and not better. There has to be a better way to manage the situation.

By all means threaten her in the privacy of your own mind like I so often do when feeling angry. But we don't want to see an interdict against you for anti-social behaviour, even if you feel she started it.

I do feel for you and am fully aware of your sensory issues. Discuss with a suitable person you feel you can trust: local councillor, social worker, doctor, relative or whoever you are comfortable with. Some of these folk are genuinely willing to assist.

And... the conclusion to this? There wasn't much of any, but... I found out she actually ended up killing someone and is apparently in jail for it currently... I did well to avoid her, you see.
