Is there a reason that every time I ask mum for something, she says no?

Perhaps she wants you to grow strong by not getting everything.

That's not gonna happen. I can't be happy without video games, but she won't get me more.

But you have them though, right?

I wanted video games when I was young...but my parents wouldn't buy them for me-they wanted me to make the money myself...perhaps she wants you to get a job?

I'm glad my parents said no more when I was younger. Ok, I hated it then, but I can better appreciate it more with the passage of time. I don't want to be too "when I was your age", but when I was growing up there was no video game system, no cable tv, and no cokes in the house. It wasn't until years later that I realized that is a good thing.

Plus, they're expensive.

get some CD's or something-they're cheaper and give more

Please don't call me a dude. I hate music, and I do not want CDs. I live for video games, and therefore I need them. I am obsessed with them, and I cannot get over it.

It's not like "dude's" some sort of derrogatory term or anything, it's just something people say. I call guys and girls "dude" and "man" all the time.

As for games, why not download some? Get a SNES emulator or something. That had what were arguably some of the greatest games of all time on it. Download The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang while you're at it, it's a seriously awesome one.

I have Super Metroid at the moment. I still want God of War 2 for PS2 though.

Well, I want a copy of Phoenix Wright but I haven't got the money. You gotta make do with what you can get, ya' know?
