Hi all, I just posted a topic about how yet another NT person I loved and trusted is filling me with unbearable despair, over in the friends and social skills section. My girlfriend informs me that NT people keep treating me like a bag of rotting s**t because I 'don't play the social games that people play' and people think I'm 'rude and don't fit in.' The older I get the more I realise that people will always play these ludicrous mind games I have no chance of understanding, and when the stakes of understanding and playing along are food and shelter, it becomes a quality of life so sh***y it's barely worth living. Do people who are 'rude and don't fit in' not deserve to have their basic needs met? (I asked her this and she said 'people don't think about it like that'.) It doesn't matter how people think about it if your right to survive rests on your ability to socialise.

I think you need a new gf and possibly some new friends. Who like you as you more or less are!

I think you're right, most people are a bunch of stupid c***s and the damage done trying to find ones who aren't is often more trouble than it's worth.
Most people are bad people. Evolution: survival of the most popular mediocre subhuman trash that can squirt his juice in an idiot slut.

No, you misunderstand, I don't need a new gf. She is the only person in the world who has tried to teach me about NT people in ways that are compassionate towards my not being able to understand standard explanations.

Its because people compete with each other, a natural instinct for most.

Yah I get that much. I don't understand why it's a prerequisite to having your basic needs met/ any semblance of community around you in our culture.

I might get this wrong but does her feedback include compassion for the way you DO understand people's behavior?

If people are rude to you then ignore them. Most people really do suck. But try to remind yourself that they do not know you or what your personal life is like.
