I wish bowling wasn't so expensive. That would be a good respite for you--becoming part of a bowling league.

But not everybody can be in a loving relationship all the time, maybe the best way to find the relationship you seek is not to obsess over it so much.
Don't do activities primarily for the purpose of finding a mate, do things for you that satisfy your interests first.
Maybe he will find you then.

Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing...you're unattached, and you've got a party coming up-- sounds like a great place to find the new Mr. Right to me.
