I am very embarrassed because apparently I have disclosed the name of a Wrongplanet member all over the Internet! I asked this person if she is still living with her children and she said she is very protective of her children because of what I have said. I understand this, but I think it is extremely strange, and I don't know how any additional messages I send will come off to her.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

I've done that, before. Don't worry about it. We all make mistakes.

If she finds out about this, she will not be very happy!

Larsen, have you thought about telling her what happened and apologizing before she finds out?

Larsen: some people are very careful about who they let their kids talk to and how much information they want their kids to give. I once talked to someone who wouldn't even give out his real first name.
She may have seen your friendliness as a little to much and didn't want her kids getting close to anyone online.
