I'm starting to see no reason not to. Pleanty of people do when in such cases, heck most people drink lots of liquor or do drugs. I've been straight arrow for my whole life and it's got me nothing but crap. While all those other people get everything I want

I don't much like the taste but found mixing it with root beer makes it so I don't even taste it so I could drink tons quickly and the carbon causes it to enter the blood stream faster.

All my old friends do it was part of why we're not friends now because I wouldn't get wasted all the time with them.

Drinking will only make you feel worse -- it's a depressant. How would you like to wake up very morning feeling queasy, you're head pounding, and with no motivation to do anything? That's what you'll get if you hit the bottle. I've been there! Don't even consider it. I think you're much smarter than that.

That's crazy talk. Alcoholism is a terrible addiction and an illness, it can kill you. It could kill someone else if you're DWI. It can ruin the lives of your family members, not just yours.

I hate to sound like a preachy PSA, but it's true. I've never even heard of anyone "wanting" to be an alcoholic before. Normally it just happens.

I don't think you can become an alcoholic, maybe a drunk. Terrible idea, it makes depression so much worse.

I think the plan is to kill himself in installments.

My family has a history of alcoholism
One reason I've avoided drinking

That could take many years and would be a very slow, painful and horrible death 8O

2 weeks and 1 day without it and I feel great! Sleep isn't real woopy, but hoping that will change. Saving money too! Scotch is expensive and so is Pepcid.

Well, if you don't enjoy booze at first place, why to force yourself into something?
To be more like others? Why?

You think people are really happy when drunk-laughing and talking s**t?

And besides, there is no point in doing something without love for the thing.
You have to LOVE drinking to become proper Alcoholic.

Take a lot of B6 and B12 (Methyl B12 is best) and if you are NT and have no hormonal issues maybe some Melatonin.

I'm starting back on a lot of my vitamins and I think I have some extra b vit in the cabinet. Exercising and doing a higher protein diet, low carb. Need to drink more water. Can't do melatonin - screwed up my hormones like you said. How'd you know about that?

Starting to kinda miss the taste of the big A, but I don't want to go back. My heartburn is totally gone.

I don't think alcoholics necessarily LOVE alcohol.
It's just that they can't function normally without it.

I gave it up for twelve days recently.
Twelve days seems to be my limit.

Well, that's just ordinary Aspie intuition at work :P

Now you have to repair damage to keep it that way.
Teaspoon of St John's Wort Oil first thing in the morning will do wonder.
And it's very good antidepressant too...
