I'm almost at the point where I'll get fired because I'm not learning my job fast enough. Its been almost 2 months now and I'm still making mistakes. I read the training documents, but the information doesn't stick and I forget a lot of it if I can't refer to it on the spot. My boss explains things once, then flips out if I don't remember everything. My coworkers think I'm an idiot
I've got my nerves working against me, I feel like a bull in a china shop. I'm going to exercise more this weekend and see how that calms my nerves. I need to push past myself and turn a new leaf or I'm done.
I hate to be a nattering nabob of negativism (which I am, A LOT), but management may have already decided to give you the axe. If you ask for accomodation because of ASD, you've already cemented your fate. Remember, last hired, first fired. If you can't pick up the pace in training, and meet the employer's standards, you might as well pack it in and go elsewhere.
