I mean like aside from being poor as sh*t, I actually don't hate my life anymore. I have an amazing boyfriend, sometimes I wonder how he possibly can stand some of my crap...I lose stuff and will freak out looking for it, and sometimes I'm just grumpy and don't know why, basically i know I can be frustrating sometimes and at times I am surprised there is actually someone who really accepts me and loves me flaws and all. I don't live at my moms anymore, living with my boyfriend and 4 other room-mates in a pretty nice duplex unit. I am still on SSI, haven't figured out how to get into working and potentially not having to rely on it forever....but things are mostly good.

So what now? Things are relatively good for the first time ever...and I guess it is a little shocking.Almost seems like things have finally gotten good for me but the world is possibly going to sh*t more than when I was mad about everything in my life.

Good change can be just as stressful as negative change for us autistics.

You're actually a pretty bright person, and I'm sure your boyfriend likes that.

You're also pretty down-to-earth in addition to being bright. Your boyfriend, obviously, likes that, too.

And you're into Metal----now THAT'S the most important thing

He really likes metal to so that is definitely a good thing...according to him it is kind of hard to find actual metalhead women. I mean there are females who go to shows but aren't really metalheads and most probably don't even want to be. But for me when I first got into metal that was it...angsty teen to full blown metalhead.

Hmm wasn't familiar with it before but looked it up...and I think I should check it out, I enjoy camping so perhaps next time I will suggest that as a place to check out.

I'm happy for you that life doesn't totally suck at this point. It's kind of where my daughter is at, she still struggles with a lot of things but she has a good boyfriend, apartment, car, and cat and a lot of things are going well. I think she too is sort of shocked that things are going better for her now. I hope the trend continues for both you and my daughter.

She'll suck it up and find another boyfriend!

But I have a feeling that scenario is actually too bad to be true.

I dunno, I think you should always have a backup plan.
